Iran's parliament speaker Kalibaf arrives in Baghdad for talks

BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Mohammad Bagher Kalibaf, speaker of Iran's Islamic Consultative Assembly, arrived in Baghdad on Thursday morning with a senior delegation, according to a written statement from the Iraqi parliament's press office. He was received at Baghdad International Airport by Adnan Fayhan, First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi parliament.
Kalibaf is scheduled to meet Iraqi officials for discussions on bilateral and regional matters, the statement said. His delegation includes Iranian lawmakers and senior officials.
