Iran-linked media publishes video depicting targeting of Melania Trump

TEHRAN, Iran — Sources linked to Iranian state-affiliated outlet Tasnim have released a staged video depicting first lady Melania Trump as a target, The Times of London reported. The footage shows crosshairs from a scoped weapon superimposed on photographs of locations in New York where Melania Trump has been seen, and also includes her stepson Barron Trump. The video contains material presented as U.S. Secret Service communications codes, apparently assembled from open-source and satellite imagery, along with a list of luxury retailers in Manhattan. Around the same time, billboards were erected on main avenues in Tehran showing the images of Melania, Barron and Ivanka Trump with their eyes covered. U.S. media have reported that Israeli intelligence has briefed the White House on an Iranian plan targeting certain American individuals. No official response has been issued by the U.S. administration or the Secret Service.
