ADEN, Yemen โ€” Yemen's Houthis said Tuesday they carried out three military operations against Saudi Arabia, including a missile strike on a Saudi oil tanker in the northern Red Sea. The group's statement said the tanker "Amzan" was hit off the coast of Yanbu with a ballistic missile, sparking a fire on board and prompting other vessels in the area to move away. In a second operation, the Houthis said they targeted Saudi positions in the Al-Abr and Al-Wadiya areas with ballistic missiles and drones, destroying more than 10 weapon-laden trucks that they said had come from Saudi territory. The group added that a third operation hit Saudi forces in the Al-Kanays area. According to the statement, dozens of people, including commanders and officers, were killed or wounded in the Al-Kanays strike, and weapons depots there were burned and rendered unusable. The Houthis provided no further details, and no independent confirmation of the operations was immediately available.
