MARIB, Yemen โ Several explosions rocked the eastern Yemeni city of Marib on Saturday evening after Houthi forces fired four ballistic missiles and four drones at the city, local officials said. Yemeni media also reported blasts in the area.
The attacks came a day after the Yemeni government said the Houthis had fired six ballistic missiles at the port of Mocha on the country's western coast, killing at least four civilians. The government said the strikes targeted civilian, economic and maritime facilities in Mocha.
Marib is one of the main centers of Yemen's oil production and has been a key frontline between Houthi and government forces in recent years. Further details on casualties or damage in Saturday's strikes were not immediately available.
