BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Mohammed Shabr Abdallah, head of the Baghdad distribution unit within the oil products distribution department, has been removed from his post due to administrative violations, a government source said. The decision was issued after alleged administrative breaches related to the unit's operations were identified.
According to the source, the dismissal forms part of an ongoing administrative process led by the Oil Ministry and the oil products distribution department to monitor the performance of managers and ensure uninterrupted services. The Baghdad distribution unit is expected to be run on a temporary basis while arrangements are made for a permanent replacement.
The source said fuel stations and distribution points are expected to continue operating without disruption during the transition. The Oil Ministry and the oil products distribution department have not issued an official statement on the removal, and no further details were immediately available.
