Iraq Olympic football team head coach Graham Arnold has agreed to extend his contract with the Iraqi Football Federation, committing to stay in charge for the next period.
The Australian coach said continuity would be central to the national team's development, adding that he would continue the program aimed at raising players' performance. He described the renewed contract as a sign of stability for both sides.
The federation said the coaching staff's duties would remain unchanged under the new agreement. Arnold also said he planned to give more opportunities to younger players as part of efforts to strengthen the national team's pipeline.
The extension comes as Iraq's Olympic side prepares for upcoming international fixtures, with Arnold expected to lead preparations for those competitions.
