France Coordinates International Mission to Secure Navigation in Strait of Hormuz

The French Foreign Ministry confirmed plans to deploy an international mission dedicated to reopening the strait and securing commercial shipping lanes. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Pascal Konvafro stated that the mission will be strictly defensive in nature. Its primary objectives include escorting vessels to reassure crews and insurance companies.
