BAGHDAD, Iraq โ€” Iraqi authorities seized numerous title deeds and hundreds of animals from a farm belonging to former lawmaker Talal al-Zubaidi in the Abu Ghraib district of Baghdad following his arrest, according to a document prepared by Iraq's Commission on Integrity. The inventory list, which circulated on social media, said two title certificates were recovered at the farm, issued by the Beya and Duwaychah land registries under parcel numbers 3/16/3 Duwaychah and 9/193/3 Duwaychah. Officials also found an extensive collection of livestock, including between 100 and 150 buffalo, 200 to 300 sheep, 8 ostriches, 13 gazelles, 20 to 30 mountain sheep and 10 horses, along with various species of birds, chickens and ducks. The animals and documents have been placed under guard by the authorities. The Abu Ghraib operation is part of a broader corruption investigation involving the former parliamentarian. The Commission's inventory document became public after being shared on social media.
