Fire crews extinguish two separate fires in Baghdad and Karbala

The first fire broke out at a restaurant in the Atifiya district of Baghdad, causing material damage. Crews brought the flames under control and began cooling operations at the site. Officials said an investigation has been opened to determine the cause. Hours later, a second fire broke out at a shopping center opposite Kafil Hospital in central Karbala. Civil Defense teams responded and contained the blaze, with no fatalities reported. Security measures were increased in the area after the fire was extinguished. Investigations into the causes of both fires are ongoing, according to officials.
