Details emerge of Ronaldo and Georgina's prenuptial agreement

Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodríguez married on 11 August at their estate in Cascais, Portugal, in a private ceremony attended by their children and only four witnesses, according to reports. The couple signed a prenuptial agreement before a notary in Lisbon the day before the ceremony, adopting the principle of keeping their assets separate. Under the agreement, each party's individually registered assets and real estate will remain their own property. In the event of separation, Ronaldo's estimated £1 billion fortune would not be split in half. Georgina would instead receive monthly payments of £85,000 if the couple divorce. A mansion in Madrid's La Finca district, valued at around £5 million, would also be officially registered in Rodríguez's name under the terms of the agreement.
