Fire at six-story building in Baghdad brought under control

The fire was concentrated on the sixth floor, which was used as a commercial storage area, according to the statement. Teams were dispatched to the scene after the initial report and reached the sixth floor using vehicles equipped with modern hydraulic ladders. Firefighters worked directly to extinguish the blaze while families living in the building were evacuated. The directorate said the rapid response and use of modern equipment prevented the fire from spreading to nearby areas. No casualties or injuries were reported; damage was limited to material losses.
