FIFA has published the final rankings of the 48 national teams that competed in the 2026 World Cup on its official website. Spain finished first, followed by Argentina in second, England third, France fourth and Norway fifth. Belgium placed sixth, Morocco seventh, Switzerland eighth, Mexico ninth and Colombia tenth, while Iraq finished 48th, last among the 48 teams. Turkey ranked 35th, Saudi Arabia 38th, Qatar 41st, Jordan 44th and Tunisia 47th in the standings released after the tournament.
