FIFA has announced the cities and facilities where all 48 national teams competing in the 2026 World Cup will hold their pre-tournament camps, with Iraq set to prepare at the Greenbrier Performance Center in West Virginia. The tournament begins in June next year.
Under the list released by FIFA, 39 teams will train in the United States, while seven will prepare in Mexico and two in Canada. The allocation gives each team a designated base for its final buildup before the tournament opens.
Some squads will choose facilities in Mexico and Canada, while the remaining teams will stay at different centers across the United States. Iraqโs camp assignment places it among the teams preparing in the U.S. ahead of the competition.
