An explosion outside a summer cafe near Kudrinskaya Square in central Moscow killed three people and injured 15 others, Russia's Interior Ministry's Moscow Main Directorate said. The blast occurred at approximately 8:10 p.m. local time near building number 1 on Kudrinskaya Square, according to the ministry.
Criminal investigators and investigative teams from the Moscow Main Directorate of the Interior Ministry have begun examining the scene, while Moscow emergency services are also operating in the area. A security perimeter has been established around the site.
