Earthlink to stream Iraq national team matches free for Watani internet users

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraqi telecommunications company Earthlink said it will broadcast the Iraq national football team's matches free of charge to subscribers of its Watani internet package. The games will be available through the Tout streaming app, the company said in a statement. The offer will cover national team fixtures, starting with Iraq's World Cup qualifier against Norway. Earthlink said subscribers will be able to follow the matches live via the mobile application without additional charges. The company added that full details of the package, including terms and eligibility, will be published in the coming days through its official channels. Earthlink said the initiative is designed to simplify access to live national team broadcasts for Iraqi viewers, including those abroad. The company did not provide a timeline for when additional matches or further offers under the Watani package will be announced.
