BAGHDAD, Iraq โ€” Massoud Barzani, leader of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, met with Iraqi National Security Adviser Qasim al-Abeudi in Baghdad on Monday to discuss security coordination between the federal government and the Kurdistan Region. According to a statement from the National Security Adviser's media office, the meeting reviewed Iraq's internal security situation alongside regional and international developments. The two sides discussed maintaining coordination on border security, preserving stability and counterterrorism efforts between Baghdad and the Kurdistan Region.
