BASRA, Iraq โ Basra International Airport continued receiving pilgrims returning from the holy lands on Tuesday. Airport Director Ali Abdurrazza stated that 16 dedicated flights operated between the third and seventh days of the arrival period, transporting 3,644 pilgrims.
Abdurrazza noted that arrival halls and service areas were prepared to facilitate passenger processing. The airport administration provided necessary measures to ensure the rapid completion of formalities and the orderly movement of passengers.
Separately, the Iraqi Hajj delegation announced last week that this year's organizational plan was successfully completed. The delegation stated that Iraqi pilgrims performed their rituals comfortably and without issues, expressing satisfaction with the level of services provided in Saudi Arabia.
