Barzani Foundation begins aid distribution to thousands of families in Sulaymaniyah

The Barzani Foundation’s Sulaymaniyah office said it has carried out humanitarian aid projects in the city in recent months that benefited more than 6,000 citizens. It said the foundation began distributing 2,000 food parcels today to needy families across the city.
On the second day of Eid al-Adha, the foundation said it will deliver sacrificial meat to more than 1,000 families in Sulaymaniyah. The meat distribution will be carried out under the supervision of medical teams to protect citizens’ safety.
The foundation also distributed 3,000 food and basic-needs parcels to needy families during Eid al-Fitr. It said the aid is not limited to Sulaymaniyah and continues across the Kurdistan Region and other Iraqi cities.
