Baghdad Operations Command says visitors returning smoothly after Karbala commemoration

BAGHDAD, Iraq — The Baghdad Operations Command said on Sunday evening that the return of visitors who traveled to Karbala for religious commemorations is proceeding smoothly. In a written statement, the command said the Supply and Transport Command under the 17th Infantry Division continues its tasks and that all specialized vehicles have been mobilized to carry out the return transport. The command said arrangements are in place to ensure visitors reach their home areas safely after completing the 40th-day commemoration in Karbala. It added that support is being provided to visitors to ease the process and that resources and vehicles have been allocated without interruption. The Baghdad Operations Command said it will maintain the necessary measures until all visitors arrive safely at their places of residence.
