DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Dr. Neba El-Berzinci, a Baghdad-born physician and international entrepreneur, is preparing to complete a master’s degree in clinical nutrition in London in 2026, after earning an undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Baghdad between 1989 and 1993 and building a career in the British capital.
El-Berzinci holds a medical degree in clinical nutrition and a diploma in physiotherapy from Victoria University, obtained in 2020. He led a group of family companies in Iraq from 1983 to 2004, then established a first-class company in Amman in 2007 with a capital of 200,000 Jordanian dinars. Since 2015, he has owned pharmaceutical trading and real estate development companies in Sofia, Bulgaria, and has run a Dubai-based fashion design company since 2020.
Between 2019 and 2020, the physician provided physiotherapy training and treatment to members of the Royal Guard of Oman. He attended a scientific event in Helsinki in 2021 and has been a member of a scientific and strategic research center in Switzerland since 2019. During the coronavirus pandemic, he received a certificate of appreciation from former Iraqi Health Minister Jaafar Allawi for his work during the outbreak.
