Anti-Corruption Body Warns Against Unverified Corruption Allegations

The statement came amid what it described as some media remarks containing exaggeration and false allegations that could alarm the public. The authority said accusations raised without proof can undermine economic stability and negatively affect the investment environment. It stressed that suspicions of corruption and related information should be submitted through official complaint channels. It added that allegations circulated in the media and on social media will be examined carefully. The authority warned that such claims must not be treated lightly when they are not supported by evidence. At the same time, it said media organizations play an important role in exposing corruption, but their reporting must be based on verified information and documents. The authority framed that balance as necessary to protect both accountability and the public interest.
