FIFA has published a comprehensive list of items prohibited at the 2026 World Cup, set to take place across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The ban covers vuvuzelas, whistles, air horns, and any device that produces excessive noise. Materials carrying political, discriminatory, or provocative messages, as well as laser devices, are also barred from stadium entry. Electronic cigarettes and tobacco products, reusable water bottles, glass bottles, cans, and large bags fall under the restrictions. Only one empty, transparent plastic bottle of up to one liter will be permitted per fan. Officials said the bottles can be filled with water inside the venues. The tournament is scheduled to begin on June 11 and run through July 19.
