Zelensky Warns of Imminent Large-Scale Russian Attacks

KYIV, Ukraine — President Volodymyr Zelensky has warned that Russian forces are preparing for a "near and large-scale" attack on Ukraine. In a video address, Zelensky urged citizens to remain vigilant and pay close attention to air raid sirens in the coming hours to ensure their safety. Recent Russian airstrikes across various regions of Ukraine have left at least six people dead. The capital, Kyiv, and other major cities have faced intense bombardment in recent weeks. Last Monday, airstrikes killed 10 people and caused severe damage to the Pechersk Lavra Monastery, a site regarded as a symbol of Ukraine's spiritual and cultural heritage. Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian military will continue its medium- and long-range strikes targeting Russia's oil and energy sectors.
