Turkish actress Ece Ertim dies at 35, one day after her birthday

Turkish actress Ece Ertim has died at the age of 35. According to Turkish media, Ertim collapsed at home on Monday and was pronounced dead at the scene. Initial findings pointed to a heart attack, though her lawyer, Uğur Gökçen, said the cause of death would be confirmed by a forensic medical report. Gökçen said the actress died at her home in the early afternoon while she was with her mother, and that an investigation is ongoing. The family is expected to issue a public statement once the official report is released. Ertim had recently gained wider recognition for her role as Eşil in the television series "Turna Yemişi." She was also known for her appearances in "Kutunun Kokusu" and other productions. She passed away a day after celebrating her 35th birthday.
