BAGHDAD, Iraq โ€” A global health survey published this week found that women in Taiwan reported the highest anger levels among more than 76,000 respondents across the world. The Hologic Global Women's Health Index, which collected data in February 2024, showed approximately 2.3 out of every 10 women worldwide reported feeling anger on the previous day. Taiwan was followed by Latvia, Japan, Vietnam and Poland among countries with the highest anger levels among women. Singapore, Germany and Austria also ranked in the upper tier of the index. In Europe, Malta, Greece, Czech Republic, Albania and Spain recorded the highest anger levels among women, while Guinea, Madagascar, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Chad ranked at the bottom of the list. Tim Simpson, senior director at Hologic, said women are seeking earlier diagnosis and faster access to healthcare services. He called for policymakers and the health sector to work together to address these demands.
