RIYADH, Saudi Arabia โ Saudi Arabia's Foreign Ministry on Friday strongly condemned attacks launched by Iran against Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan, saying the strikes could not be justified under any circumstances and amounted to a clear violation of those countries' sovereignty. The ministry said Riyadh stands with Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan and supports the measures they have taken in response.
In a statement, the ministry said Iran's actions were incompatible with the principles of good neighborliness and constituted a clear breach of international law. It added that the kingdom rejects any attempts to destabilize Arab states or threaten their security.
The ministry called on the international community to halt the escalation and hold those responsible for the attacks accountable. It warned that continued strikes pose a serious threat to regional and international security, without elaborating on the nature or timing of the incidents involved. No further details were immediately available.
