Sameri calls for stronger cooperation with media institutions in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq — El-Azım Alliance leader Muthana al-Sameri met in Baghdad with Iraqi Journalists Syndicate head Khalid Jasim to discuss the state of media and press work in Iraq and other related issues. Sameri said strengthening cooperation between national institutions and media bodies would help create a professional and responsible language of communication. The meeting also stressed support for press and media work and the role of media institutions in conveying facts. He also underlined the need to provide an appropriate environment for journalists to carry out their professional duties.
