Roughly 1,000 Ships Have Passed Through Strait of Hormuz Since Iran Ceasefire

The official told Al Jazeera that the waterway remains open for maritime transport, though decisions on whether to pass through rest with individual vessels. The official said the ceasefire with Iran holds, but the United States will continue protecting its forces and maintaining the blockade on Iranian ports.
