Onahi scores as Morocco beat Canada 3-0 to reach World Cup quarterfinals

Morocco midfielder Azzedine Onahi scored twice in a 3-0 win over Canada that sent the Atlas Lions into the quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico. A late strike by Sofyan Rahimi lifted the overall tally for Arab national teams at the World Cup to 102. Morocco now advance to the quarterfinal round as the only Arab side remaining in the competition.
