SALADIN, Iraq โ Morocco advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 World Cup with a 3-0 victory over Canada in the round of 16. After a goalless first half, Eziddin Onahi opened the scoring in the 50th minute off a pass from Achraf Hakimi.
Onahi doubled the lead in the 82nd minute, finishing an assist from Ibrahim Diaz. Sufyan Rahimi completed the scoring in stoppage time, converting another pass from Diaz. Rahimi had entered the match in the 22nd minute as a substitute after Ismail Sibari went off injured, and struck a shot that came back off the post in the 85th minute.
