BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Musavi North, representing Mosul, won the Iraq Futsal Super League championship after defeating Ailesi 4-1 in the final held Friday evening at the Tigris University sports hall in Baghdad.
Musavi North advanced to the final by beating Hadbay 5-1 in the semifinals, while Ailesi edged Kazimiyah 2-1 to set up the title match. The league was played in a single-round format, with four teams in each group: Kala Salih, Electricity, Ailesi and Musavi North in the first group, and South, Kazimiyah, Sumer and Diyala in the second. The top two from each group advanced to the semifinals through cross-bracket pairings.
Under the Iraqi Football Federation's Futsal Committee system, only the top two teams from the league earn promotion to the professional league for the 2026-2027 season. Both finalists have now secured that right.
