Mar Paul III Nuna has officially assumed his role as the new Patriarch of the Chaldean Church, succeeding Mar Louis Raphael I Sako. The inauguration ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Baghdad, marking a formal transition in leadership for the global Chaldean community.
Religious and government officials attended the proceedings to witness the transfer of authority. Following the formal installation, the new Patriarch was welcomed with traditional prayers and celebratory rites.
