Kurdistan Region submits August payroll, July audit report to Baghdad

ERBIL, Iraq — A technical team from the Kurdistan Region's Ministry of Finance and Economy delivered the August payroll lists for public employees and beneficiaries to the Federal Ministry of Finance's Accounting Department in Baghdad on Sunday, according to a statement from the regional ministry. The delegation also submitted the financial audit report for July to the relevant units of the Iraqi Ministry of Finance during the handover, the statement said. The documents cover personnel salary procedures in the Kurdistan Region and are intended to complete the auditing and disbursement processes. The regional ministry said the delivery is aimed at accelerating salary payments to civil servants in the Kurdistan Region.
