MOSCOW โ A knife attack at a shopping mall in the southern Russian city of Krasnodar killed one woman and wounded five other people, Russia's Investigative Committee said. The committee, which probes serious crimes, said a 19-year-old suspect has been detained and will undergo psychological evaluation. A murder investigation has been opened into the incident.
Krasnodar Region Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said five people were injured and are receiving treatment at regional and city hospitals, according to initial information. The motive for the attack remains unknown.
