AMMAN, Jordan โ Jordan's Armed Forces General Command said its air defense systems intercepted and downed four missiles that entered Jordanian airspace from Iranian territory early Tuesday. A military source said the operation was carried out in line with established procedures aimed at protecting the country's sovereignty, security and the safety of its citizens.
The command said no casualties or material damage were reported. Royal Engineering Corps teams handled missile debris that fell in various locations in a controlled manner, following standard technical and safety procedures, while measures were taken to secure the areas and protect residents and property.
