Israeli army halts capture of Hezbollah facility in southern Lebanon: reports

Israeli media reported that the Israeli army has halted operations to capture a facility belonging to Hezbollah near the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh, on Ali Taher Hill, which had been described as "strategic." The same outlets said the military also postponed plans to demolish several Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon. According to the reports, a Hezbollah tunnel in the town of Majdel Zoun remains intact and has not yet been destroyed. The army also decided to delay the demolition of other Hezbollah positions near Chateau de Shaqif, with no explanation given for the postponement. Separately, Israeli media said an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in the rural area of the town of Zrariyeh in southern Lebanon, with initial reports indicating fatalities. Lebanese media later reported that the death toll from the airstrike on Zrariyeh had risen to three and that security tensions continue in Lebanon's southern border areas.
