BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani departed Baghdad on Monday for an official visit to Tehran, the Iraqi Prime Minister's Office said. The visit is being carried out under a formal program with the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to the statement.
The Iraqi delegation includes ministers and senior officials, the statement said. Talks are expected to cover bilateral relations, economic cooperation and regional issues, with energy, trade and security also on the agenda.
