Iraqi parliament committee amends 40% of traffic law, lawmaker says

Yaser Iskander Vetut, a member of the commission, said the committee recently heard testimony from Director of Traffic Lieutenant General Adil Samir al-Hasani and plans to conduct a field visit to the General Traffic Directorate in the near future. Vetut said the committee and the traffic director had reached a preliminary understanding on window tinting, under which vehicle owners would be allowed to install tinting of up to 30% free of charge, with any higher percentage subject to a fee.
