Iraqi midfielder Ali Jasim joins Zakho on permanent transfer from Italy's Como

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraqi national team midfielder Ali Jasim has signed a two-year contract with Zakho Club on a permanent transfer from Italian Serie A side Como, the Iraqi club confirmed on Tuesday. The 33-year-old completed a move that will take him back to Iraqi football after a spell in Italy. In an official statement, Zakho said the deal was a permanent transfer and not a loan, pointing to Jasim's experience in Italian football.
