BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's Meteorological Authority said on Sunday that temperatures across the country will decline over the next two days. In a statement, the agency forecast clear weather nationwide on Monday, with temperatures falling slightly in central and southern regions while remaining close to recent levels in the north.
Tuesday's weather is also expected to be clear and hot, with a slight drop in temperatures in parts of the south and readings close to the previous day's levels in central and northern areas. The agency said clear and hot conditions would continue on Wednesday and Thursday, with temperatures largely unchanged from the preceding day.
The authority projected maximum temperatures on Monday of between 40 and 48 degrees Celsius. It did not provide further details in its statement.
