Iraqi Industry Minister reviews operations at Industry Development Directorate

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraq's Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohammed Nouri Ahmed, conducted an on-site inspection at the headquarters of the Industry Development General Directorate on Thursday. According to a statement from the ministry's media office, the minister reviewed ongoing work across the directorate's units. During the visit, Ahmed met with a group of citizens and applicants, listening directly to the problems they faced and the requests they raised while completing their transactions. He also held discussions with administrative staff and officials to assess daily operations. The minister ordered the simplification of procedures to remove obstacles facing applicants and speed up the delivery of services. The ministry said the field visit was part of regular inspections carried out by its leadership to improve the performance of executive bodies and to support the private sector and industrialists.
