Iraqi Hajj Commission Receives Fourth Consecutive 'Best Islamic Hajj Mission' Award

The Iraqi High Commission for Hajj and Umrah has been awarded the 'Labaitem' prize for the fourth consecutive year by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, recognizing it as the top Islamic Hajj mission. The accolade honors the commission's excellence in organizational standards, service quality, and the support provided to pilgrims throughout the Hajj season. Commission Chairman Sami al-Masudi formally accepted the award on Friday, May 29, 2026. The recognition highlights the commission's sustained operational efficiency in managing large-scale religious pilgrimages. The Faylaq al-Azm Coalition, the political wing of the Popular Mobilization Forces, issued a formal statement congratulating al-Masudi and his staff on the achievement.
