Iraqi Airways opens new data center as part of digital overhaul

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Iraqi Airways has inaugurated a new digital data center as part of a broader digital transformation and electronic automation initiative, the airline said. The facility is intended to strengthen the carrier's information technology infrastructure and move operational processes toward automation under modern data management standards. According to the airline, the new center will support digitalization across flight operations, passenger services, administrative workflows and financial processes. Officials said the site is also designed to enhance internal data security and improve system continuity. Iraqi Airways said the project aims to raise efficiency and improve service quality across the company. The carrier added that the data center is expected to significantly expand its overall information technology capacity.
