BAGHDAD, Iraq โ The Iraqi Football Federation announced the country has secured two qualifying spots in the 2026/2027 Gulf Clubs Championship, following its clubs' promotion to the top tier of the regional ranking system.
The Gulf Cup Football Federation confirmed the decision, which grants Iraqi clubs entry alongside counterparts from other Gulf nations. The advancement reflects recent success by Iraqi clubs in regional competitions, according to the federation.
