KIRKUK, Iraq โ Iraq's National Bodybuilding Federation held the country's major clubs bodybuilding and fitness event in Kirkuk from August 27 to 29, 2026, drawing 800 athletes from cities across the country. Competitions were staged in junior and advanced categories.
In the advanced division, Police Vehicles Club finished first, followed by Wafa Sports Club in second, Samarra Club in third, Navy Club in fourth, Zevra Club in fifth and Popular Mobilization Club in sixth. The Air Force team won the junior category, with Samarra Club taking second, Air Defense Club third, Zevra Club fourth, Misak Club fifth and Teachers Club sixth.
The federation said the championship served as part of the country's preparation program for upcoming world and Asian bodybuilding championships. No further details on the event were immediately available.
