BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraq's Ministry of Finance announced on Friday that it has released the financing needed to pay public-sector employees' salaries for the current month. The ministry said the funds were transferred to the relevant departments in line with the treasury-approved payment schedule, clearing the way for on-time salary disbursements across central government institutions.
In a statement, the ministry confirmed that the financing process has been completed and that the funds have been dispatched to the designated bank accounts for distribution. It added that payments would be carried out in a transparent and orderly manner and that coordination would continue to prevent delays.
The ministry said all financial procedures would be fully implemented to ensure civil servants receive their salaries each month without disruption. Officials noted that the launch of payments keeps the process for safeguarding employees' economic rights on track as planned.
