BAGHDAD, Iraq โ Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani received Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani in Baghdad on Wednesday for talks covering political, economic and security issues. According to a prime minister's office statement, al-Sudani reiterated the federal government's commitment to resolving all pending files within the framework of the constitution and existing laws.
The two leaders stressed the importance of safeguarding Iraq's unity and sovereignty and strengthening the national partnership, the statement said.
