KIRKUK, Iraq โ The Iraq Oil Projects Company on Wednesday rejected social media allegations that its director general appeared in inappropriate video footage, calling the claims fabricated and entirely unfounded. In a statement, the company said the video circulating online does not reflect reality and has no connection to the director general.
The company described the posts as an attempt to target both the individual and the institution, saying they misled public opinion. It reiterated that the footage was fabricated and that the accusations directed at the director general were baseless.
The statement called on media outlets and social media users not to share unverified content and warned against the circulation of misleading material whose source cannot be confirmed. No further details were immediately available.
