Iraq Hezbollah Brigades says it remains committed to its weapons

KARBALA, Iraq — The secretary general of Iraq Hezbollah Brigades, Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, said the group remains firmly committed to its weapons and will continue to develop them and expand its arsenal. Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Arbaeen pilgrimage in Karbala, Hamidawi said military and media struggle must be pursued together to deter adversaries. He described building up the resistance's capabilities as a necessity against future attacks and called for heightened security readiness and secrecy. Hamidawi praised the large turnout at the Arbaeen pilgrimage and thanked service personnel, the custodians of the holy shrines, the Karbala city administration, security units and the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) for their support during the event. He also noted that the Palestinian cause featured prominently in the pilgrimage activities, reiterating that the resistance will not compromise on its weapons.
