Iraq’s Meteorological Authority said rain will continue from tomorrow and temperatures will rise across the country, with highs ranging from 26 to 39 degrees. The forecast covers Thursday through Sunday and points to mixed conditions in the north alongside generally clearer weather in the center and south.
On Thursday, mostly cloudy weather is expected in central and southern Iraq, while the north will see partly cloudy skies and scattered thunderstorms. Friday is also expected to bring mostly cloudy conditions in the center and south, with partly cloudy weather and localized rain in the north.
On Saturday, skies across the country are expected to be mostly clear to partly cloudy, with temperatures slightly higher than the previous day. Sunday is also forecast to be generally clear to partly cloudy, although showers may continue in some parts of the north.
From tomorrow, the highest temperatures are expected to reach 33-39 degrees in the south, 32-33 degrees in central areas, and 26-28 degrees in the north.
